Each in-person event is intentionally capped at 40 attendees.

We keep the room intimate on purpose - small enough to connect meaningfully without overwhelm, and large enough to give our speakers a powerful, engaged crowd to speak to.

The majority of the audience is made up of fellow She’s Got The Mic members. This is a supportive, high-energy community where women genuinely cheer each other on and show up for one another.

We also welcome a select number of local women entrepreneurs and brand partners who love what we’re building and come to be inspired by the incredible stories and expertise our members share.

Our live events are curated, elevated experiences designed to celebrate women’s voices. There isn’t one set theme - our members speak on a wide range of topics, from wellness and leadership to finance, brain health, business, and personal growth.

What unites every event is the energy in the room: supportive, high-caliber women showing up to take the mic, share their message, and cheer each other on. It’s intimate, powerful, and intentionally designed to help you grow your confidence and visibility.

Applications are processed on a first-come-first served basis at this time, so make sure to apply early as soon as new events open up. As a member, you will always be alerted when new events are added.

At this time, CORE members are guaranteed two in-person speaking experiences and two virtual speaking experiences per calendar year (from the date you become a member). Can you speak more than that? Absolutely, you can apply as often as you'd like and as long as there is a spot open, you are welcome to go beyond the two guaranteed spots. 

No problem at all. Every live event is live streamed, so you can join from anywhere in the world. We have a virtual membership option and virtual speaking events so members can attend and speak wherever you are located!

Virtual members are welcome to apply to speak at in-person events.

If selected for a speaker spot, a $247 Stage Experience fee will apply. This fee must be paid to officially confirm your speaking slot. An invoice will be sent upon acceptance.

This option is ideal for members who live outside the greater NYC area and plan to travel in for a live event occasionally.

No. You can learn, grow, and be inspired- and when you're ready, the mic is waiting.

Perfect. First-time speakers and seasoned professionals are equally welcome.

No, absolutely not! Your membership includes access to attend all events at no additional cost, either in-person or virtually.

No. Nonmembers can attend at nonmember pricing if an event does not sell out. Members receive priority access.

For the live speaking events included in your core membership, speakwe spots range from 5-10 minutes, depending on the event. This gives you the opportunity to polish small chunks of your longer signature talk, or work on and develop new stories and material, in front of a supportive audience while you capture professional footage. 

It varies event-by-event. Typically slides are not part of the Hot Five events, but can be included in the Intensives and other events with fewer speakers and longer speaking times.

When slides are allowed, you’ll receive clear guidelines in advance.

Absolutely. It’s your time on stage, and you can use whatever you need—there are no strict rules about notes.

That said, we keep talk times intentionally short to encourage you to know your material well, which results in the strongest photos and the cleanest video footage for your demo reel, website, and social media. The more present and memorized you are, the more powerful your stage presence will look and feel on camera.
